I-Teens is SIWFF's special section for short films made by teenage Korean female filmmakers. This year's I-Teens has six films that capture themes like idol fandom culture, schoolwork, family, trauma of sexual violence, and sexual discrimination from the teen perspective. The films make us think about the relationships between the feminine and feminism, revealing their feminist attitudes by looking carefully at their spaces and relationships, and visualising the arrangement of the feminine, rather than highlighting feminist themes (which are sometimes decided by patriarchal values). SIWFF 2020 will select 2 films to receive the Grand Award and I-Teens Award, respectively. HWANG Miyojo / Programmer
