There is a legend about a tree fairy ‘Nariphon’ in Thailand. Tien stole the fruit of Nariphon inside the forest. Tien’s friend Gene convinced Tien to return the fruit, and the two walk in Nariphon’s forest, which appeared in Gene’s dream.
The mix of narrative elements – characters’ conversations about death, wishes, divine creatures, ghosts, and the unclear past of their relationship – and the audiovisual elements – birds chirping, creeks, mysterious forest and trees, as well as the unique editing style – leaves a mystical and vivid impression.
