My Feminism is a documentary that interviews with famous pro-feminists and various images of women that reveals the vitality of feminism. The film is a must for anyone who wants to learn about the feminist movement and the field of women’s studies.
 The film’s cast includes the spokeswoman for the Feminist Movement in the 70s and founder of Ms, Gloria Steinem, Afro-American writer and women’s lib advocate bell hooks, Chicago Univ. professor and layer, Mary Becker, the co-founder of the feminist publishing company, Kali for Women, Urvashii Butalia, the Canadian Writer and political critic Judy Rebick, lawyer, and lesbian activist. With their personal experiences as a basis, these women talk passionately to the audience about the definition of today’s feminism in the late 20th century and attest to the diversity of current issues in the movement.
 The film deals with personal definitions and common sense notions of feminism, feminism as viewed by the media and consumer culture, and the daily sufferings women experience within the sociopolitical sphere. As Vaid says, feminists don’t have to be the same. They don’t have to like or agree with each other, but it is important that they talk and exchange their opinions.
