Jae-hee, a new employee, is having difficulty with sexual harassment at her office. She is a passive woman who has trouble expressing negative feelings. Jung-Ae, who has been working for in the company for the past eight years, feels stifled at how Jae-hee is handling her predicament. Regardless, Jung-Ae is too preoccupied with surviving in the company. On the day of the first office dinner, Assistant Manager Kim’s subtle sexual harassment appears in a more direct form and Jae-hee tries to confront the offender directly about what a hard time she had been having because of him. However, Kim instead gets angry as he feels that Jae-hee’s accusations are disagreeable and impudent for a new employee. In despair at this reaction, Jae-hee ends up requesting a public apology from Kim. Jung-Ae finds out about this belatedly and reflects upon how she had took an averted attitude towards the situation. She persuades Jae-hee to continue working at the company. Jae-hee succumbs only to realize that the anticipated public apology ends as a formality, and that sexual harassment in the company continues.
