SYNOPSIS

A story based on the experiences of Grandma, who spent her childhood during the Japanese annexation period. When Grandma was young, her country was under the rule of the fish kingdom. Grandma, who is old now, still sings in fish language and memorizes the multiplication table in fish language. Grandma, believing that if an animal were to eat her nail clippings it would turn into her, always throws them out in the toilet. One day Grandma goes to the riverside to throw away her nail clippings, because the toilet was broken¡¦

    A Printing Arts major at Hong-Ik University, she received an MFA at the school of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is currently working as lay-out artist at Pixar studios. Grandma was invited to numerous international festivals including the Sundance Film Festival 2001.
