SYNOPSIS

This film captures sharply, yet with supreme subtlety, the chaos and bewitchment that comes to the tranquil routine of a home and the calm relations of a married couple when a strange man enters into their life. After 12 years of marriage, Marie is an ordinary woman with a two-year-old son. While working as a encyclopedia salesperson, she happens to meet Bill, an African-American dancer. Afterwards, her married life, which didn¡¯t seem to have any problems before, starts to crack up and she falls rapidly into new sensations. Bill¡¯s existence itself, and the tumultuous sex with him makes her realize the physical desires that were latent in her, along with a sense of loss that she cannot name. What is the final choice of a married woman taken captive by a passion that threatens her self-control, the security of her family, and the binding institution of marriage? (Joo You-Shin)
