According to legend, ‘Ah’(“sigh”), a legendary figure, appears as a young, handsome man to anybody who heaves a deep sigh, and then he tries to solve the needy person’s problems. A widow envies her own maid. Poor as the maid is, she has a husband and children. Ah appears before the woman and hands over a key which can resolve her grief. With the key, she can steal a glance at the other woman’s life. The film provides the lives of Iranian women of different ages, class backgrounds and with different jobs with this key. If we watch their real lives closely, woman from all social conditions get along with a deep sigh. Women may envy something that they do not possess, like money, a job or a family, but every woman heaves a deep sigh due to her own suffering. Finally, they realize that the key that stops their sighing is the full and mutual understanding among women from different strata, who call ‘Ah’ into their world to solve their problems.
