SYNOPSIS

An animated documentary about the filmmaker¡¯s family at the dinner table on an ordinary day. Pure Soup illustrates each of the family member¡¯s unique personality during the four courses of dinner through simple, hand-drawn images. Their trivial conversations fail to be understood by one another; nevertheless, they happily eat together and rest contently afterwards. (Kim Hea-seung)

    Born in 1977 in Israel, Dalit Bekerman graduated from the Dept. of Digital Media at Camera Obscura School of Arts in 2002 and worked at an Internet company as a digital media designer. Pour Soup won the Excellence award at the 18th Haifa International Film Festival in Israel.
