SYNOPSIS

A young boy lives with his grandparents, and he misses his supposedly dead father. Afraid of being abandoned, he locks himself in his imaginary world obsessed with death. One day, the boy goes to the city with his grandmother in search of his father and discovers he is alive. Living a new life as a gay man, his father even refuses to face his own mother. However, he cannot hide his paternal feelings for his own son. (Kim Hea-seung)

    Born in Seoul in 1974, Lee Ji-sun studied film at the Korean National University of Arts. My Father¡¯s Song won the Best Short Film Award at the Seoul Independent Film Festival 2002. Her filmography includes Woman, Sleeping (1997), Watermelon (1999) and Near the Woods (2000).
