‘Mother’ is always busy cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry and taking care of babies. But upon being asked “what does your mother do?” children always say “Nothing.” This animation deals with this prejudice about housewives in a paradoxical way.
Tita RoselTita Rosel
Born in 1957, Tita Rosel attended the 1995 Animation Workshop at the Mowelfund Film Institute while teaching at Adamson University. Her first animated film, What Does Your Mother Do? has been awarded the Best Animation & Best Work for Children, Animation Category in the 1996 CCP Awards for Alternative Film & Video. She still teaches and paints regularly.
