Most graduation films tend to be autobiographical. This film is also based on the filmmaker’s own experiences with fear of the outside world, discrimination in family relationships, and the ambivalent feelings of a daughter towards her father that any woman can easily relate to. The voice-over narration is extremely intimate and honest. (Jenna Ku)
