Zsófia Péterffy graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts majoring in Animation in 1997. Her works include Clan of Demons (1997) and Tearing You Up As the Storm (1999). Lover of Pirates was selected at the 59th Venice Film Festival.
