We have been taught that there are just two sexes in this world: man and woman. And those sexes separate us, shut us away in fortresses, and build thick barricades between us. Moreover, we are governed by rigid rules as to how to behave and present ourselves as man and woman. Venus Boyz is a story of drag kings who delightfully break those sex rules. New York nightlife is pure excitement with its legendary drag king shows. ‘Drag King’ is a show performed by those born or who have lived in a woman’s body, dressed as men. It is a satire on men’s movements, attitudes, sexual appetites and power. But their performance is not limited to mere mimicry of men. New York’s drag king women meet one another in the clubs, finding and bringing out the masculine in themselves. ‘Drag King’ is a trip to discover the world of feminine masculinity.
 Their desire is not just to change gender from woman to man or vice versa. It is to break down the fixed sexual boundary and recreate one’s own inherent identity.
 The experimentation that challenges the fixed sexual limits and hierarchy is variegated and profound in nature. The shows and everyday lives of drag kings, and their thoughts on their identity are incorporated into the film. The film bubbles with explosive power that pulls out the repressed energy in us.
