SYNOPSIS

This film is conceived from the photos found one day in the basement of the house of the director¡¯s grandmother. Cutting and pasting together these photos of family members, she looks into her own family history: she reconstructs her past, her memories, and even creates future.     Director Elizabeth Cortiñas Hidalgo, born in 1976 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, came to Kiel in 1995 to learn German. She studied at the European Film College Ebeltoft, Denmark. Her filmography includes Penelope(1999), Ein Traum von Bunuel (2001), Die Analphabeten (2001), Ein Leben wie ein Rummelplatz(2001), and Mein Zug ist schon abgefahren? (2001).
