SYNOPSIS

A provocative yet indifferent study on a woman¡¯s inner life that evokes the feminist classic A Questions of Silence by Marleen Gorris.
Christine is a working class woman unable to communicate with anyone and who leads a life far removed from any meaningful acts or warm relationships. As a result her days are dried up, monotonous, and her existence is just a small unit, that much and no more, in the systematic and organized late industrial society. One day the dull routine of her life is broken by her boss Patricia, and Christine¡¯s life starts to firmly revolve around Patricia. But as Patricia starts to avoid her, the hitherto unseen anger and impulses latent in Christine erupt through the unforeseen event of murder.
The overall cold and blue tone of the film and scenes that lapse into silence make us look dispassionately into the soul of Christine, almost paralyzed by loneliness. In contrast, the miraculous changes that sneak into Christine¡¯s life after the murder are described in a dreamlike atmosphere, and effectually call to mind the deficiency and instability of her life.
