SYNOPSIS

A woman must deal with the sudden, unexpected death of her husband in a car accident. During the traditional Confucian funeral, she feels suffocated by all the other people around her and this stress triggers a fantasy that is staged as a joyous musical. In this melange of reality and fantasy, a beautiful young boy comes up to her. The woman must confront her desire for the boy. (Kim Hea-seung)

    Kim Min-sook studied filmmaking at Korea National University of Arts. She directed short films Apple (2005) and Giraffe and Africa (2007) that won prizes at a number of film festivals and dramatized and directed the past episode of a feature film Shadow (2007).
