SYNOPSIS

After directing films such as A Feather Tale and Hat, Michèle Cournoyer has created a surrealistic animated film, which shows a stunningly phantasmal vision representing the experience of a woman¡¯s body and soul on a microscopic level coming in the age of telecommunications and electrical networking.     Born in Saint Joseph de Sorel, Quebec in 1943, Michèle Cournoyer studied graphic arts, photography and animation in England and Italy. She then worked as a set designer, art director, costume designer and screenwriter on a number of groundbreaking Quebec films of the 1970s. She has also made several independent films of her own: Toccata (1978), Old Orchard Beach, P.Q. (1981) Dolorosa (1988) as well as very innovative and original animated shorts including A Feather Tale (1992), An Artist (1994) and The Hat (1999).
