Kyu-ri always has had a difficult time with people’s assumptions about her based on her pretty face, while Jung-sun is often mistaken for a guy due to her plain, androgynous look. On opposite ends of the spectrum of people’s biased views on female appearance, they suffer and even get hurt. Through the use of a casual but well-structured story, the film examines widely-accepted preoccupations with female looks by problematizing society’s preconceptions. (Billy Choi)
