One of five episodes from the omnibus shorts collection If You Were Me 2 by five filmmakers. Eun-hye is a girl with Down syndrome who is very aware that the people around her always talk about her ‘difference.’, She is able to respond to this outer world in a slow, but clear way. This film depicts the world that Eun-hye encounters, as well as the way the world treats her. While opening their hearts and minds to Eun-hye, the people around her - including her mother, her mother’s friends, and Eun-hye’s best friend who happens to be a middle-aged woman - cannot help but acknowledge the differences and similarities between them. Going beyond the perspective of gender difference, this film offers a new perspective on the meaning of being human. (Sue Kim)
