SYNOPSIS

Fatiha and her husband with two children have immigrated to France in 1974. She always stays inside isolated from the outside world because her husband locks the door whenever he goes out. One day Fatiha starts to communicate with a woman out on the veranda who lives on the lower floor. Then she helps Fatiha to go outside by copying a key in secret. The short film heartwarmingly describes the women\'s witty cooperative actions joyfully shaking off the authoritative and patriarchal husband¡¯s constraints. (Billy Choi)

    "Fatma Zohra Zamoum is born on the 19th of January 1967 at Bordj-Ménaïel (Algeria). She arrived in Paris in 1988, shares her life between two passions painting and cinema. Cinema and fiction are comfortably installed in her existence since 1995, she financed her own first Short films and she writes long and short scenario. Currently she is teaching History of art in University.
