It is an autobiographical film about director\'s childhood. A 17-year-old girl, on her birthday, goes to see a 34-year-old man writing a novel in the countryside. She suddenly wants to meet and likes him but has no idea how to express her feelings. The man, however, talks about his girlfriend and thinks of her merely as a child. The two of them have a joyful chat at a snack stall, take a walk together, and sing and talk while sitting on a lawn in the dark. After spending the night like that, the girl waits for a bus to go back to her place. It is a very poetic film that plants a tree gently stirring in the breeze of the viewer\'s mind. (KIM Sunah)

"Born 1978 in Sungai Ular, a Malay fishing village in Kuantan, Mui grew up in a Taiwanese family surrounded by Malay community. The experience of growing up as the only Chinese family in a Malay village gave her a very different perspective of her Malaysian identity.
