Women migrants from about total 220 households live in the Hoengseong area. Recent education programs for women migrants about Korean language and cooking have been held there, but they were more pleased with the media workshop because it brought them together and helped them become close confidantes. Through this media workshop, the organizations in Hoengseong became aware of the troubles and realities of women migrants. The workshop also has shown the necessity of training sessions for women migrants, education programs for children, and counseling programs. This film follows the course of the media workshop for women migrants in Hoengseong. (Jay SOHN)
