SYNOPSIS

What is needed here and now for success, or for survival as a woman? The events occurring around the scales in the classroom may seem funny but are no laughing matter. The ¡®sharpen up your looks¡¯ program forced upon a graduating class of a girls¡¯ vocational high school is clearly another example of the disciplinary program of ¡®woman-making¡¯ that is imposed on women by the world of nonstop competition and consumer capitalism. This short film shows us the director Yim¡¯s power to make witty dark comedy with serious story.
