SYNOPSIS

Jeong-hee, who runs a meat shop at a cattle market, suffers from her gambling-addict husband¡¯s abuse. One day, when she runs from the husband, other women at the cattle market help her and teach her how to be stronger. An accident happens eventually, and the women flock to Jeong-hee¡¯s meat shop. This bizarre version of A Question of Silence shows a thrilling vision of women bonding and fighting against male violence through the metaphor of cannibalism. It depends on the position where you stand whether you will feel queasy or excited. (MAENG Soo-jin)
