SYNOPSIS

 Program Note
Hanna, a part-time worker at a restaurant, is forced to take a break in the afternoon when there are few customers. Once again she opens the door and walks out to kill time walking up and down the streets. The last scene of this film is as heart-aching and impressive as its wit and intelligence is powerful when it parodies the film title of Chaplin¡¯s Modern Times which criticized capitalist society¡¯s alienation of human beings in the early twentieth century. This is a pitiable story of job seekers in their twenties who live in poverty and face ¡®shitty, unfair¡¯ working conditions as parttime workers. (Jay SOHN)
