A girl is lost in confusion after she watches porn for the first time with her friends. Now a banana - one of her favorite foods - looks gross to her. So does a green red pepper when her aunty has a bite of one. Things aren’t much better when her boyfriend confess love to her. But the world is the same as it was yesterday and the girl learns to deal with it. This film positively describes teenagers’ curiosity and experiences in regards to sex; here, experiencing things sexual is part of the natural process of growing up. This film is in stark contrast to many other juvenile films that focus on sex as being something not quite right, and the guilty feelings that come along with sex. Banana is Delicious is definitely bright and refreshing. (MO Eun-young)
