SYNOPSIS

In this animated short, a young girl may not understand why Uncle Mike will soon become Aunt Michelle, but their love for each other stays the same.


Uncle Mike is a genuinely good person. Anybody would like him/her in person. However, some people dislike him/her only because S/he wears skirts, high heels and makeup. A powerful and touching 3D animation introducing a little niece who understands Uncle Mike¡¯s transformation to Aunt Michelle. (Jay SOHN)

    Julianne McCartney graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a Bachelors, Media Arts and Animation in 2007. While attending the school, Julianne acted as the student project director for animated short film Uncle Mike. Since graduation, Ms. McCartney has been actively working in animation. First as a 3D Generalist for Golden Era Studio and currently as 3D animator and modeler. Her duties include modeling and composing scenes, creating lighting and texturing, general animation duties and prop creation for All Things Media, LLC.
