SYNOPSIS

 Synopsis
In this romantic dark comedy, ZOE CADWAULDER must overcome her phobias in order to discover love. Traumatized by her parents\' untimely death by a meteor, Zoe has a gloom and doom outlook on life. Despite her fears, Zoe finds a soul mate in the adventuresome RED. But, her brief moment of lightness is clouded again by yet another one of nature\'s unlikely cruel jokes. How will Zoe break free from this chain of disasters and will she see the potential for a natural wonder?

 Program Note
Ever since Zoe lost her parents in a horrible accident when she was a child, she has been suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and she has many fears centering around safety. One day, terrified by the thought that the light bulbs may fall from the ceiling Zoe stops by a sporting goods store to buy a safety helmet. There, she meets Red, an employee of the store, and she finds her likable. However, Red, who enjoys every possible kind of dangerous sports, is the type Zoe definitely wants to avoid: Zoe lost her loved ones before, and she never wants to experience such pain again. Can timid Zoe courageously start a new love? A short film that allows us a chance to see the cute performances of Melanie Lynskey, who was superbly impressive in Heavenly Creatures. (Jay SOHN)
