 Synopsis
Borrows Dr. Seuss’ famous villain, the Grinch, and transforms him from Whoville’s mythical Christmas hating goblin into a modern-day ex-girlfriend who breaks Abigail’s heart. Crushed by her loss, Abigail falls into a world of lovelorn misery, obsession, internet stalking and self-medicating. But finally, Abigail is struck by a sense of renewed self-worth, and triumphs over her love for the Grinch... or does she?

Program Note
Taking a motif from Grinch, a notorious villain appearing in 「How the Grinch Stole Christmas」by Dr. Seuss, this comic short is full of humorous satire talking about the wounds and the healing of broken hearts in love. Abigail is in a nightmare since her exgirlfriend Grinch left her. Being obsessed with Grinch, she even stalks her online, but Grinch only laughs at her coldly. Abigail cries in self-pity and her friends try to soothe her, but nothing seems to work for her. Eventually she thinks she gets free of Grinch by meeting a new love, but this is not the way it really works. (CHO Hye-young)
