SYNOPSIS

Synopsis
A horse, from a printed pattern on a blanket, comes alive and dreams of becoming many different things; a unicorn that freely flies in the sky, a snail that moves so slowly, a submarine that runs under the sea, a pencil that is used for composing, a horse-head that is attached to a Mongolian musical instrument, a ballerina who dances for ¡®Swan Lake¡¯, and a gentleman who enjoys a glass of wine in a fancy restaurant.

Program Note
A new work from Arai Chie, director of Slow Train invited in New Currents section back in 2004, is a lovely film that starts with an image and sound of dressmaking, a commonly enjoyed hobby in Japan.
