This is a film that evolved from an old story and an old coin. The coin was minted in Constantinople in 1808.

A Turkish coin is inherited down the family. Behind this coin, a complicated history of Balkan region is hidden. Through an old family album and grandmother‘s story, the director talks about the history of her family who immigrated to the village around the Turkish-Bulgarian border. This animated documentary tells a legendary story that her ancestors, in the liberation of Bulgaria around the beginning of 1900, left a treasure buried under the ground before they emigrated, and reveals how the political situation of the 20th century Balkan region has changed her family.
