KIM Kko-bbi, SEO Young-ju, YANG Eun-yong
SynopsisThe actors start to shoot themselves after they receive the cameras. KIM Kko-bbi goes abroad to shoot her friends from Breathless. When SEO Young-ju finished her busy life with a performance as an actress and an assistant director after shooting a film, she leaves on a trip overseas to hibernate. YANG Eun-yong loves someone, but cannot contact with him. Though it is tough, they reveal and discover their new faces through their films, the source of their energy.
Actresses who have worked in front of the camera now stand behind the camera. Three young stars of the independent film world, KIM Kko-bbi, SEO Young-ju and YANG Eun-yong, present self-recorded films, and director BOO Ji-young takes charge of the group. The three actresses courageously and honestly reveal their faces without makeup and open up their daily lives. KIM Kko-bbi, with her bright smile, approaches the audience, not as a charismatic actress, but as a young girl who likes to chat. And SEO Young-ju befriends the audience with a whimsical question, “Can an actress save the world?” YANG Eun-yong, concerned about living the life of a professional involved in the independent film industry, talks about the loneliness of life. The three actresses seem adorable, as they think about making a film, living as actresses, and how this all connects with their lives on earth.
As amateur directors, directing of the three actresses is lacking in many parts, nevertheless the actresses’ daily lives and their frank and honest chatter in the film are enough for the audience to gain an insight into their real selves. The three actresses gain energy from acting out and presenting other people’s lives. Watching the three actresses as they meet and think about their lives and concerns is a delightful experience.
