Mija has a lover no one knows about. This young man is a stranger with different skin color and language. Mija decides to travel abroad with him. She buys two tickets but keeps it secret to him. After she manages to take holidays, she spends busy days for preparing the trip and, one day, she gets her thin eyebrow tattooed. After that day, she locks up herself in a small room. Mija can’t see anyone. And then she finally realizes the secret of this relationship. Can Mija make this trip happen?

In her middle age, Mija worries about her daughter studying in US and the urinary incontinence that recently came to her. Her only comfort is her date with a Nepalese young man who lives in a basement rented room. Planning of traveling with him, she decisively purchases airline tickets to the man’s country, Nepal, but falls into despair when she finds out he has another woman. Mija tears up the tickets in disappointment with herself and in reproach to him, but she ultimately goes to the airport with torn tickets, putting the pieces together. KIM Ja-young’s excellent performance of a forthright woman in her middle age and the director JEON Hyo-jeong’s delicate direction of the character’s construction are impressive. [LEE Hyuk-sang]
