SYNOPSIS

The movie shows an experimental interview with the theorist and activist Ann Cvetkovich. She defines terms from A to Z such as ¡¯depression,¡¯ but also provides everyday's negative feelings with a different meaning.

The Alphabet of Feeling Bad shows an experimental interview conducted by the theorist and activist Ann CVETKOVICH. The film offers a queerfeminist
framework to interpret words of negative feelings, like despair, depression, and failure, hinting at the possibility of collective and
political emotions. Negative feelings, such as depression and loss, should not be understood as personal failure or illness. Rather they must be
politicized as ¡®public&collective feelings¡¯ of this world, in which homophobia, racism, and neoliberal exploitations are prevalent. [HONG So-in]
