In 2007, a 19-year-old girl wrote a letter to her Korean husband. 7 years later, the letter is read in Vietnamese. The letter is than read out loud in Korean. During the time that passes between the two acts, it is evident that her plea does not reach the heart of her husband and the realization has come too late, but only women recognize this and share her pain. As the film invites us to sympathize with her suffering, female solidarity is created. [KANG Ba-da]
