2015 Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival Program Note
Mi-ae has several animals pastured in her head. As she meets her lover, the animals keep locked in a fence.
As a little sister, a neighbor, a college classmate, a student and a friend, Mi-ae plays a number of animal characters. Within different relationships, she dutifully endeavors to fulfil the roles imposed upon her by the society. However, in a moment of carelessness, she reveals her true self. When she meets her lover, the several animals pastured in her head get locked up behind the fence. Animal Farm is a highly original animation which depicts various social masks through the means of powerful visual effects. [KANG Ba-da]
