Imagine yourself living alone in the city working as a supermarket clerk and one day you are awakened by severe pain. Imagine how overwhelmingly sad it would be to go to a hospital by yourself. Similarly, Claudia entered the hospital to get her appendix out. One day, Claudia wakes up in the night and finds Martha next to her enduring pain and not letting her children know. When Claudia leaves the hospital, Martha also leaves and asks Claudia to have a dinner together at her house. Martha¡¯s biggest daughter is struggling to take care of her younger sisters and a brother. Her second daughter causing concern because of her overweight and the third is stuck in adolescence. The youngest son is sweet but always gets into trouble. Martha, mother, is getting sicker and sicker. Many family members get themselves into troubles and quarrels, hurting each other. Yet, Claudia draws closer to this family little by little.

In her debut film, Claudia SAINTE-LUCE, the director, portrays the ordinary life of a single-parent family by showing the house of a single woman, streets and supermarket.
