This is KIM Ye-young and KIM Young-geun‘s film who directed a critically acclaimed film A Walk. The high-rise buildings, gray asphalt, black smoke and street noise surrounds Seoul City but people are the ones who make up the city. The two directors try to discover people and the city layer-by-layer in order to show pure state of selves. The harmony of sounds of different people sleeping, brushing their teeth, sounds of walking and others are mixed and mashed together. The minimal and abstract description of the basic elements of the city, that we have lived but forgotten, delivers the essence of everyday life. [CHO Hye Young]
