  • MO Eunyoung

    Programmer, BIFAN

    MO Eunyoung majored in film and animation theory. She was a writer for EBS programs such as “Cinema Paradiso” and “Anitopia,” and she contributed to magazines and daily newspapers such as FILM2.0, DVD2.0, and KINO as a film critic. Since the inception of the Korean Film Archive Cinematheque KOFA, she has worked as a programmer for many years. She has organized several fusion performances of classical films with various genres, such as the silent film narration performance of “Crossroad of Youngsters.” She is also a programmer at the Seoul Indie-AniFest.

  • Soda Jerk

    Director

    Soda Jerk is an artist duo who make sample-based films with a rogue documentary impulse. They are fundamentally interested in the politics of images: how they circulate, whom they benefit and how they can be undone. Formed in Sydney in 2002, they have been based in New York since 2012.

  • LEE Jeong-hyang

    Director

    LEE Jeong-hyang studied French literature at Sogang University and graduated Korean Academy of Film Arts. In 1998, she debuted with the feature film Art Museum by the Zoo. Since then, Lee has been creating films that achieves both critical acclaims and box office hit, including The Way Home (2002), A Reason to Live (2011). In 2019, she presented a new short film The Weight of One Penny(2011).

  • SON Sinae

    Programmer, SIWFF

    SON Sinae debuted as a film critict after winning the Rookie of the Year Award from the Korea Film Critics Association in 2016. She is a contributor of the film webzine REVERSE and the magazine FILO, and a member of the Criticism Division of the Korea Independent Film Association.

  • HWANG Hei-rim

    Programmer, SIWFF

    Hei-rim HWANG was a staff writer at the weekly film magazine Cine 21 for six years from 1997, and has been writing for various publications since. After studying Film Studies at Birkbeck, University of London, she worked as a programmer at the Seoul Eco Film Festival from 2006 to 2011. She has been working for several film festivals, including Seoul Independent Film Festival and Seoul Intl. Architecture Film Festival, and since 2015, for Seoul Intl. Food Film Festival. As an independent producer, she has worked on feature-length documentaries such as Sanda (2013), The Truth Shall Not Sink with Sewol (2014) and The Voice of the Voiceless (in production). Co-managing director and producer at the film production/distribution company Metaplay, she has distributed several films such as The Running Actress (2017) and Cats’ Apartment (2020).
