The 21st SEOUL International Women's Film Festival will be held from August 29 to September 5, 2019 in Seoul, Korea. Before submitting your film, please read the rules and regulations carefully and fill out the form.

2019 CALL FOR ENTRIES

• Deadline: May 31 at 18:00(KST)
• How to submit: Download and fill out Entry Form → Send the form via e-mail to arrive by the deadline.

• Note: Include Online Preview Link in the entry form (DVD screener is not acceptable)

ELIGIBILITY

• For Competitions: Films must have been completed after June 1, 2018.
  

  * Films must be by a female director.

• Films must be less than 40 mins for shorts and longer than 60 mins for feature section.

ENTRY FEE

There is no entry fee for submission to the festival.

SUBMISSION CATEGORY

Conditions			Premiere
Competition	International Competition	Feature narrative films only. Films must be a female director's first or second film.	Korean Premiere
	Korean Competition	Feature films in all genres. Films must be directed by a Korean female director.
	Asian Shorts Competition	Short films in all genres. Films must be directed by a female director from Asia.
	I-Teens	Short films in all genres. Films must be directed by a Korean female director

AWARDS

International Competition	Best Film	USD 20,000 cash award and a trophy
	Best Director	USD 10,000 cash award and a trophy
	Special Jury Prize	USD 5,000 cash award and a trophy
Korean Competition	Best Korean Film	KRW 10,000,000 cash award and a trophy
Asian Shorts Competition	Best Film	KRW 6,000,000 cash award and a trophy
	Best Director	KRW 4,000,000 cash award and a trophy
	Audience Award	A trophy with a gift
I-Teens	Best Film	KRW 500,000 cash award and a trophy (2 films for each)
	Audience Award	A trophy with a gift

SELECTION RESULTS

• The Festival will individually notify submitters the selection results via e-mail in July 2019.
• The Festival reserves the right to decide the section in which the selected film will participate.
• The Festival does not provide individual explanation on the non-selection of a film.

NOTICE

• Be sure to read and agree to the submission regulations before you complete the entry form.
• Submission is completed only when the online preview link works well along with the submitted entry form.
• Preview must be submitted with online link with the form.
• The online preview link must be played until the end of July 2019.
• Preview should be the same as the final screening version.
• Once a film is selected, the films in any language other than Korean or English must be provided with English subtitles.
• The materials for submission will not be returned and destroyed after the conclusion of each edition of the Festival.
