Synopsis

Hae-yeon, a vocational high school student doing a practicum at a call center, relies entirely on an AI named ‘Youmi’ to make her choices. Following Youmi’s suggestion, she takes a day off to go hiking. Following Youmi's instructions blindly, Hae-yeon ends up getting lost deep in the mountains...

Director's Statement

Are we truly living by our own choices?

They say climbing a mountain is like navigating life. Through Hae-yeon’s journey—getting lost and surviving in a mountain that mirrors life itself—I wanted to ask the audience: "How autonomously are we truly living our own lives?"

Furthermore, I wanted this film to be a warm embrace and an encouragement for those who constantly doubt their decisions and hand over their autonomy to others—especially youth in Korea. I hope to inspire them to take the wheel and boldly make their own choices in life.
