SYNOPSIS

Eunhee from a single-parent family loves watching musicals. One day, when she and her friend Minjung read the notice of 'the special scholarship sponsored by the student council', they apply for it individually. The two of them keep each other in check, pretending not to. As Minjung accidentally finds out that Eunhee bought an expensive musical ticket, she reports it to the student council…

PROGRAM NOTE

Do even desires qualify? How will you look at Eun-hee, who applies for a special scholarship because of economic distress and purchases a musical ticket instead? It depicts a reality that is never flat, such as an uncomfortable situation in which you have to compete with a close friend for a special scholarship and “poverty,” and even capture an intimate moment with a friend in the meantime. It is impressive that the direction is not overwhelmed by the subject matter of class, but calmly solved it with concrete daily stories. [KIM Hyunmin]
