Synopsis
It is a fictional feature-length film shot annually between 2017 and 2024. Between the ages of 18 and 25, we experience the main character Leonie's physical and emotional development. The film explores the loving, painful, and ambivalent network of relationships among (queer) women, and how Leonie finds her way to a self-determined, confident life. It is a coming-of-age story in which the main character and the filmmakers grow up together, collectively preserving their emotions year after year.

Lotta SCHWERKLotta Schwerk (b. 1998) made her first short film in her early teens, quickly followed by other works that earned recognition and awards at various festivals. Since 2018, she has curated and moderated for film festivals including YOUKI and Interfilm/KUKI. She has also worked as an assistant director in film and television productions since 2019. A self-taught filmmaker, she recently made her feature debut with Ninja Motherf*cking Destruction.
