KWON Eunsun
Professor, Joongbu University / Film Critic
Kwon Eunsun began her career as a film critic after winning the CINE21 Film Critic Award in 1999, and earned a Ph.D. in Visual Arts from Chung-Ang University in 2010. She previously served as the Chief Programmer of the SIWFF and is currently a Professor in the Department of Theater and Film at Joongbu University.
Vani SUBRAMANIAN

Vani Subramanian is a feminist activist and documentary filmmaker whose work since the 1990s has explored themes such as gender, justice, cultural memory, and social prejudice. Her films have been screened and awarded both nationally and internationally. Beyond filmmaking, she has worked with video art, performance, and installations. She has taught at institutions including Cornell University and serves as the Creative Director of reFrame Institute of Art and Expression.

SON Sinae

Son Sinae debuted as a film critic after winning the Rookie of the Year Award from the Korea Film Critics Association in 2016. She is a contributor of the film webzine REVERSE and the magazine FILO, and a member of the Criticism Division of the Korea Independent Film Association.
SONG Hyojoung
Film Critic
After winning the 12th CINE21 Film Critic Award, Song Hyojoung has continued her work in journal criticism and has been active as a writer and programmer with the IndieForum Writers' Society. As a researcher, she focuses on the cultural order in Korea during the colonial, liberation, and Cold War periods, and engages with representational systems as a film critic.
