Pitch&Catch Project Pitching (hereinafter, Pitch&Catch) supports and fosters developing projects by female creators.

This year, the program’s 14th anniversary, a total of 85 projects were submitted for the contest and passed a fierce preliminary review. In the end, five feature films and five documentaries were selected. These ten selected projects will receive pitch doctoring and mentoring for approximately two months prior to the festival, and the results will be shown at the pitching event to be unveiled at MEGABOX SangamWorldcup Branch on Tuesday, August 29. Afterward, the filmmakers will have business meetings with industry insiders. Industry insiders may apply for the pitching event and the business meetings in advance online, and on-site applications will also be accepted on each day of the events.

A total of KRW 81 million, including cash awards and in-kind support, is at stake in the 14th Pitch&Catch. Five jury of finals from the industry will attend the main pitching event and decide on the final awardees, and the award-winning projects will be unveiled at the closing ceremony of the SIWFF on Wednesday, August 30.
