The Feminist Activism Workshop is a section that presents productions made by young women under the auspices of the Seoul Foundation of Women & Family. The foundation has conducted the women’s filmmaking project since 2016, showcasing the results at SIWFF. The title of the project has changed over the years from Seoul Women’s Walk (2016),Women’s Cue (2017) and Women’s Cine (2018), however the purpose remains the same - to record the stories of young women and highlight themes of gender equality among audiences. This year’s lineup features four short films that explore feminist issues and debates.
