SYNOPSIS

Su-young, a Korean student studying in Poland, meets Pawel, the leader of a band, at a concert. He begins to teach her how to play the piano. They are strongly attracted to each other and eventually fall in love. However, Su-young has to go back to Korea in a few months, and Pawel has a live-in girlfriend. Despite their passionate love for each other, they suffer from the cultural conflict and personal commitments. (Kim Hea-seung)

    Born in 1970, Kim Jae-eui studied Korean Literature at Yonsei University and studied Film Directing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz until 2003. Her short documentary The Face (2000) won the third prize in Krakow International Short Film Festival and The Dream (2001) won the IF Award at the 3rd WFFIS.
