Ayla is a six-year-girl who loves to play rubber band jumping with her peers. However, Ayla’s grandfather watches over her with a disparaging eye. Moslem women must wear thick wollen pantyhose all the time, even during the hot burning summers and Ayla stirs up this ‘rule without exception’ with a childlike innocence. This witty film questions the matter of ‘who’takes control over women’s bodies in a short but very clearly defined story. (Nam In-young)
