SYNOPSIS

Ju-eun is an 18-year-old who has to leave the group home. She receives a sudden notice from the real estate stating that her contract has been canceled and loses her home in a blink of an instant. She hurriedly asks for help from the adults around her, but no one gives her practical help. Is there a house where she can live?​ 

 

PROGRAM NOTE

Ju-eun leaves her workplace after getting a call from a real estate agency. 18-year-old Ju-eun is hopeless because she faces the termination of protection. Conversation with a property agent and the following scenes figure out the fault of the system. The film also shows how she is in a socially weak position. As the director poses a question about the boundary between adults and children in a short time, the perspective is warm but penetrating. [PARK Sohyun]

    Born in 2003. She is now a senior at School of Performing Arts, and worked as a stage manager, producer, and assistant director in various movies through school workshops. In the summer of 2020, she first directed a short film Kidult.
