SYNOPSIS

A young woman loses her mother, but life goes on. She distracts herself from her grief and flies to the moon. A surprise awaits her when she comes back home.

PROGRAM NOTE

One night, not long after her mother passes away, the protagonist suddenly flies to the moon as she is doing some office work alone in her apartment. Perhaps it is because the bright lamp light is so unpleasant, or maybe she just likes the full moon outside her window. It seems there are emotions she hasn¡¯t taken care of yet, and there is grief to share and a need to be with others. The manifestation of fantasy in this film addresses unaccepted loss and the need for condolence. The introduction and color contrast are particularly impressive. [Programmer HWANG Miyojo]
